Structures of the Web
As technology becomes more advanced, the Internet increasingly becomes an integral part of life for users around the world. The Internet is used for all sorts of activities ranging from business to entertainment. E-mail, video games, news, and social media are among the most popular topics of sites accessed. Behind the scenes of such common sites is a plethora of information about the Web and its structured components which have a tremendous impact on how these sites are formed. These components of the Web can be categorized into four major topics. They are the Semantic Web (Web 3.0), Search and Filter Bubbles, Data Privacy and Tracking, and Anonymity and Avatar.
